Description: Cybernetic threat of unknown origin. Cybernetic extremeties of unknown, possibly alien, technology while torso and head seem mostly biological. Several accounts have testified that insects of some variety seem to be crawling over the body and cybernetics, but anything can be speculated here as this threat is a member of The Hive, a team of insect themed "heroes".
Known Strengths/Tactics: Several minor skirmishes at several of our installations have yielded little info on this threat. Ant Droid seems to be little affected by standard issue concussive and energy weapons. This could be either a hyper regenerative trait or some sort of extraordinary toughness (perhaps forcefield related?), it hasn't yet been explained. Ant Droid seems to employ a combination street/trained fighting style so he has likely spent time in either law enforcement or the military. The threat's fighting style is augmented, reports say, by a build up and release of energy from his cybernetic extremities on impact.
Known/Possible Weakness: Observations of incidents involving Ant Droid tell of a possible mental illness. The subject in question seems to be distracted at times during physical confrontation. Of course, a possible explanation could be some sort of hyper-sensitivity to stimuli as he is also difficult to surprise and seems to sort of have "eyes in the back of his head". Further incident study may show indicators of his mental state which may lead to exploits of this threat in possible future confrontations
Threat Level and Official Standing: Moderate threat level. This threat should be studied in any future confrontations. The nature and extent of the cybernetic implants (e.g. fully articulated limbs, hands, and fingers with no loss of dexterity) are of interest to our Cybernetcs and Bio-Reengineering division. Any operations that come in contact with this threat are ordered to attempt capture before elimination, but if elimination is the only alternative attempt retrieval of the cybernetic parts of the body.
