Malcolm Xaine isn't considered a hero. Former military man hired by a local inventor known only as the Professor (real name unknown at this time) to test new weapons in the field.
As Malcolm has no association with police or military, the only way to leagally test this equipment was to register as a hero and use it against the criminal forces in Paragon.
A psychological profile gained from our sources in the U.S. Military reveal that Malcolm has temperment problems, often flying into a rage with little provocation. Also, he has shown little aspiration to prove himself as a hero and has little regard for authority.
In fact, he was dishonourably discharged from sevice for disobeying a direct command that later led to the deaths of several members in his squad. Malcolm has shown little remorse for this action, implying an almost sociopathic behaviour.
Of all "heroes" in Paragon, Malcolm maybe the easiest to coerce into working for us in future endeavours.
Current Weapons:
Malcolm is armed with cybernetic gauntlets that house three 9-inch blades capable of cutting through most substances. The trigger appears to be in the palm, allowing them to be deployed and retracted with ease.
Also, Malcolm appears to be injected with a nanite type machine that facilitates his healing. Through concentration, he is able to use the nanites the heal more grievous wounds instantly, though this causes the nanites to need several minutes to recharge before reuse. Also, the nanites supply Malcolm with energy, making him slow to tire.
Continous improvements are being made by the Professor to Xaines arsenal for more testing.
