Subject: Nova Lad

Background: Nova Lad's mutant nature revealed itself when the subject was exposed to an extremely stressful situation. The subject and his sister (See: Sara Davies) were accosted by several Hellions one night on the Green Line train from Atlas Park to Steel Canyon. Nova Lad rapidly dispatched the Hellions and was consequently invited by Ms. Liberty to join the costumed ranks of heroes in Paragon City.
Affiliations: Nova Lad was a member of Team Virtue for a brief time but has since joined the Youth League, a highly active team operating from Paragon City.
Strategies: Nova Lad tends to immobilize his targets with rings of flame and then bombard them with blasts of fire. He is also known to lay down a wide-range "Rain of Fire" that hinders the movement of his targets. Recently, he has been seen to surround himself with a field of tremendous heat, causing nearby materials to burst into flame. Warning: Use extreme caution when approaching subject. He is considered highly volatile and may not be in full control of his powers.
