Therra Arcson's powers were brought out during an attempted mugging as she came home one night. No prior history of superpowers have been noted in her family history.
When her powers emerged, she was recruited into the Shadow of the Storm organization, there fighting and continually increasing her abilities, moving from simple single-target to massive area assaults. She appears to have gained the ability to direct electromagnetic energy around herself for concealment purposes as well.
Assumed deceased during an attack on a Council base, she has returned as Therra Paladina, apparently after merging with an alien life form. No trace of her former electricity-based abilities have been detected since.
