Cornered in a small village terrorized by Abu Sayyaf Jihadists, Miguel Dioso's mutant powers became apparant as he found himself covered in flames and a kinetic fiery aura generated by his body with adrenaline granting him extraordinary strength. Along with the Philippine military, he chased the terrorists down and beat them into unconciousness, withstanding bullets and using searing heat to his advantage. The soldiers began calling him "Capitan Filipinas" or Captain Philippines in victory all while an American journalist and cameraman was there to witness the event and released the video to the press (We now have a copy of this video).
The Philippine Bureau of Supernatural Heroes took in Miguel and trained him to better use his powers. He then spent alot of time fighting alongside the Philippine military and police against terrorists and local criminals. Soon thereafter, he was sent to the United States as an ambassador and support to Paragon City. In turn for his services as a registered hero, the U.S. government will send financial aid to emergency hospitals in the Philippines. His suit's colors are based off the Philippine Flag and the eagle symbol on his chest derives from the Philippine's National Coat of Arms.
This foreign government ambassador can be found aiding Longbow in warzones such as Siren's Call when not patrolling the streets of the city. He also has the ability of flight using precise generation of hot oxygen emanating from his body. During our first encounter, he brought friends but none were from Longbow.
