Personality
Having the reputation of a wealthy recluse would be far from fiction when describing Snakebite. However when he gained the will to pursue a carrer in crimefighting to alleviate the pressure of running a fortune 500 company he never thought it would become a major driving force in his life. While quiet in social gatherings as Devente, Snakebite on the other had is quite the fearsome hero to come up against in the heat of battle.
Skills and abilities
Mainly influenced by the techniques found in China, Italy, Spain and Japan, Snakebite also added techniques found in other martial arts to improve his swordsmanship to the point of being able to disarm an opponent and incapacitate them without spilling a single drop of blood unless absolutely necessary. The process of developing a personal martial arts style has toned Snakebite’s muscles so extremely well, that it is said he has "bullet proof skin". The bullet proof part is not true however he is able to withstand almost any blow to the body with minimal damage. His sheer strength of willpower enhanced by the training gives him an almost sixth like sense allowing him to avoid even the most deadly of blows.
History
The inspiration for his costume comes from his family crest, shown as a cobra killing a hawk overlaying two crossed swords. His family crest is of great pride to Snakebite. The family crest is etched in gold and placed over a dark green shield. Out of costume Snakebite is a tanned, half American, half Hispanic male of age 28. He has very short black hair and green eyes. Snakebite’s full name is Devante Eperlanoz. Since birth however he has been known to his family and peers as Devon. Thought to be a lost process, the creation of Damascus steel was handed down through his family’s lineage and meant to be kept as a family secret. Once reaching Snakebite he used the method and formulas to bring the metal forging method back to the world of today. After creating Damascus Enterprises Inc. the profits made him a instant millionaire and it was through use of this fortune that he has been able to become a hero.
Traveling across the world Snakebite learned all the sword techniques he could find. Taking parts from various techniques he created his own fighting style to compliment the damaging power of his dual blades. Upon his arrival back in the states, Snakebite noticed the massive flocking of USA's hero population to Paragon City. Deciding to journey to the city to see what he could do to help quell the ever encroaching threat from villainous forces, he set to work on finding a place to call home in this massive city was. Unfortunately this was no easy feat even for a millionaire but through some quickly made contacts he has been able to find accommodations. Snakebite has begun the process to assert himself as a major driving force in the war against evil that encompasses this city of heroes.

Twin Falcatas:
Held in two holsters made of the same material as his gloves and boots, in the back of his costume, Snakebite carries a pair of blades that are a variation on the traditional Pre-Roman Hispania Falcata. Unlike their older counterparts the hilt of each blade features a cobra head instead of the end being stylized in the shape of a horse or a bird. The blades are made from the famed Damascus steel which is his company’s main export.
Costume
Snakebite's costume is made of a version of the Nomex fire-resistant, triple-weave Kevlar-lined material. It serves as an excellent form of protection against damage, and is also insulated against electricity. The mask, in the form of cobra fangs, is fixed in place via fiber meld technology developed by a small unknown company based in china and includes a built-in radio transmitter/receiver and automatic tinting night-vision lenses. His gauntlets and boots are made of a special material that provides nearly unbreakable armour that is both insulated and form fitting.
Transportation:
Teleportation Belt
Snakebite's belt is a teleporting device that, in conjunction with his sensors in his mask's eyelets and field of vision; allow him to teleport over short distances. Other uses of the belt include the ability to teleport a friend and/or multiple friends from anywhere within the confines of a 500km radius to his immediate location.
