Brief Assessment: Subject's DNA is in Crey possession for possible use in Revenant Project. She is unlikely to yield to recruitment and has raided a number of Crey facilities recently. Definitely a threat. Subject's many personal relationships may prove useful if negotiations or confrontation becomes necessary.
Research has yielded quite a bit of information on this subject. Few now remember Paragon's scrappy crimefighters known as the Fourth Estate, who came together to clean up corruption and, later, aid in the war effort: The Muck-Raker! Girl Friday! The Public Eye! Newshound! And, of course, that young lady who becamse so popular with the G.I.s: Miss Paige Turner, aka PinUp Girl! She joined up in 1942 as part of the Fourth Estate's 'junior' group, the Late Edition. Sadly, both groups broke up and drifted apart after the war, and the names of those heroes have fallen into obscurity. But recently, a figure reminscent of PinUp Girl has been seen on the streets of Paragon City. Only the most diehard hero fans recognized the costume, but word is getting out. Could it be Miss Turner has somehow returned to heroing, untouched by time? Or has some other woman taken up the slender knives and the familiar cry: "Now it's my turn to pin you!"
The original PinUp Girl took up with the aging leader of the Fourth Estate, the two-fisted, hardboiled reporter known as The Muck-Raker. Always a bitter and cynical man, his relationship with Paige deteriorated completely when she fell for the young up-and-comer Billy Peabody, known as Bold Face. The tensions involved contributed to the breakup of the Fourth Estate. The Muck-Raker, apparently on a one-way slide into alcoholism and self-hatred, left Paige pregnant and distraught. Yet she and Billy were wed and retired to live normal lives. Paige's daughter, Betty, had a brief career as a costumed hero with the name Cutline, but her attempt to revive the Fourth Estate in the early 1970s never made it into circulation; she also put away the blades. However, Betty also had a daughter, who was named for her famous grandmother. Paige the younger was always fascinated by the tales of her grandmother's exploits. She thought it was high time PinUp Girl made a return.
Known Associates: PinUp Girl is a member of the Gods of the Golden Age. She is in a romantic relationship with her teammate, Proud Citizen. Among her close friends are the heroes known as Triune Mode, Colossal Girl, Star Flair, Queen of Swords, and Spectral Lad.
Strength level: Her strength level is that of a highly-trained and disciplined human being.
Known Superhuman Powers: Paige is only a highly-trained human, though there has been some evidence that she *may* have inherited some of her grandfather's metahuman abilities. The Muck-Raker was known to unleash a terrible darkness upon the corrupt policemen and city officials he so disdained. Paige has noted that she seems to have inherited some of her grandfather's shadowy powers, but it is a rather weak and untrained ability.
Other Abilities: When Paige expressed interest in taking up the family mantle, her mother procured her a combat instructor--Ari Rubin, a former member of Mossad. Ari molded Paige into a skilled knife fighter, and he also insisted she train in Krav Maga. Additionally, Paige is a skilled seamstress and enjoys designing clothing. She makes all of PinUp Girl's outfits.
Limitations: Paige has all the limitations of any nomal human. She does appear to have a higher level of toughness and stamina than most people, which may be due to her intensive training. It may also have to do with the magical ability she seems to have inherited, weak as it is.
Paraphernalia: PinUp Girl was always known for her fanciful outfits that would not be out of place in a painting by Evgren or Vargas. Paige plans to recreate all of her grandmother's best known outfits. At the moment, her main outfit is a reproduction of PinUp Girl's basic 'sailor' look. This was the outfit the original PinUp Girl wore in a famous photo that was often seen in barracks; the nose art painted on the B-17 sponsored by Paragon City and named 'PinUp Girl' featured Miss Turner in this outfit as well. The outfit features a tight white top and very short shorts, all trimmed in red, and blue pumps. White gloves and a small blue mask complete the look.
Weapons/Arsenal: Paige uses her grandmother's brace of fighting knives--a pair of matched V-42 Commando Knives given to the original PinUp girl by the Case company during WWII. These slender two-edged knives are similar to daggers. She also carries several small throwing knives. All of her knives are stashed about her person in a concealed harness she made herself--and when asked from whence she produces her blades, her usual answer is "You don't really want to know."
