History:
Coldfront is the elder brother to the mutant, fireblaster Acetylene. Having opposite ice-based powers from his brother is almost symbolic for these two brother's relationship with one another. They have always been in competition and seem as if they are in direct opposition to one another. They have often broken off from a fight with a supervillain just to battle each other!
Coldfront is the more physical of the two. He not only has mastered his ice blast but has also trained in various fighting styles as well. Coldfront has shown great control with his ice powers and has even invented his own form of locomotion, the ice-slide. By generting extreme cold beneath his feet he creates sheets of ice beneath him that he can 'skate' across at high speed. It often appears to those watching as if he is running at superspeed with bursts of snow beneath his feet.
Psychology:
Coldfront is often quite emotionless and disregards the emotions of others. He is very task oriented and focused on results over the means to achieve them. The only time he lets his own feelings overtake him is when he is in competition with his brother.
Threat Summary:
Coldfront is a potential threat. Although he is more focused on action rather than detective work he seems to be developing quite a network of contacts within the city.
