Oksah has had a splintered involvement with a former Portal Corporation sub-contracter. A small team of researchers for The Boren Group, a research think-tank that had dealt with Portal Corporation in the past, are responsible for Oksah's presence in Paragon City. By altering parameters in an early portal prototype generator, Boren Group sciencists Celai Cristóbal and Andrea 'Adi' LeFleur were, 20 months before the Rikti invasion, able to send a portal not only through space but through time.
The portal sent them to what they later determined was one of a small chain of islands in the lower Pacific. Based on their measurments of the sun, moon, and stars they determined that the time at the far side of the portal to be 1327 C.E.
It is here that Nosila Oksah lived, a local priestess to a pagan goddess of Balance, Rhian. Her people had characteristics thought to be held by the those from the fabled underwater city of Alantis: blue skin, capable to breath and live underwater, etc. By chance, Celai and Adi became aware of the priestess, and made contact with her.
Though caught on opposite sides of a communication barrier, the scientests convinced the priestess Oksah to come with them back to the present day. Here, Oksah quickly devoured the English language and began to study much of the scientific theory produced in the 700+ years that she skipped.
Within a year, she was a full time, if not fully adjusted, employee of The Boren Group, her pagan mind adapting well to the scientific process and to the various projects within.
When Celai and Adi were severly injured during The Invasion, the naturally pacifist Oksah started to see the need to not only care for her friends, but an urge to assist in other ways. She produced many unstable compounds, combining her current day technology knowledge and her ancient herblogy skills, though only a few have helped keep Celai and Adi in a general state of wellness. At the urging of those two, she took these new found remidies to the hero population of Paragon City.
Possible Exploits or Weaknesses
Oksah still clings to her old religion. Records of Oksah discussing the particulars of the religion obtained from The Boren Group show that she made many mentions to a great balance; that every good action must be matched by a bad. Appeals to her in this nature may prove useful.
Threats on the Celai or Adi may sway her actions or view.
Known Behavior Patterns
Crey Operatives have often seen Oksah observing present day culture in Atlas Park, furiously note taking in the same green covered journal, taken in what we assume is her native language.
