Powers Analysis:
It seems as if this subjects powers are partially derived from the artifact that he wields.
The subject seems to be impervious to almost any physical as well as energy and cold based forms of damage. The subject has been seen absorbing the mightiest of blows from the Praetorian Tyrant with no effect shown! The subject also singlehandedly subdued Hopkins and his personal assault squad. Hopkins mightiest blows were shrugged off showing no effect whatsoever. Field surveillance videos show the target withstanding attacks that would have crumbled mountains with little to no noticeable damage sustained. Our analysts suggest that *Psi and fire seem to have some potential.
It is estimated the subject can lift the equivelant of over 100 tons. He also is able to use the artifact to fly. Recent developments indicate that the magic of the axe apparently allows Beowoolfe to manipulate locally centered artic conditions. He has shown the ability to call forth immediate freezing conditions as well as to attack opponents with shards of ice.
* it would seem as if lately this target has become more capable in sustaining longer assaults. Possibly due to a conservation of energy tactic learned from an ancient druidic manual. This is very concerning as it suggests that previous tactics of overwhelming with numbers and drawing out battles may not be as tactically beneficial.
*Also operatives indicate that the target known as Beowoolfe has lately been entering into a "Bezerker State" whereas he is impervious to damage and attacks with complete disregard to anything around him. Extremely concerning news.
Intelligence Analysis:
Special care is needed with this target. So far results indicate that his only weakness may be to psionics. DO NOT attempt to melee. This hero wields a powerful relic "the claw of Beowoolfe", a battleaxe known to bring down the strongest of our Crey assets. This relic is apparently of an epic scale and our R&D department will go to any lenghts to "procure" it. His jovial manner and effervescent personality mask his steely warrior manner. *Note that he is usually in the company of other members of the The Infinity Council who are adept at group combat situations
Summary:
After the singlehanded defeat of Hopkins it was advised that all resources avoid this hero at all costs. Due to his evolving power the recent Company Mandate #6233 states that ANY field asset avoid interaction with the hero Beowoolfe or be subject to disciplanary measures. The target is now beyond our means to control with normal measures. Steps are being taken to establish control procedures within the supergroup known as The Infinity Council in the circumstance that action is required.
*Updated Developments*
At seems as if surveillance operatives have discovered that the target known as Beowoolfe has begun a romantic affair with the Paragon Hero known as The Swan. This apparently is a recent development and intelligence is unsure how to best utilize this information.
Known Associations
Recent Research and Development breakthroughs show that the hero known as Beowoolfe apparently comes from a long family heritage that has wielded the artifact(The Claw of Beowoolfe) for nearly a millenia. Circle historians indicate that an ongoing feud between the descendants of Quintilloch Patric and the Necromancers who founded The Circle of Thorns has been ongoing through the centuries fueled by mystically powered champions hell bent on retribution. A virtual Hatfield and McCoy type clan feud that apparently spans continents and generations. Our moles inside the Circle indicate that the Arch Mage Agamemnon who was the de-facto Dark Master of the Circle of Thorns for over a century managed to manipulate the uncle of Cougar Patrick to sacrifice himself to save the isle of Iceland from falling into a dark rift leading into the Dimensional Abyss. The current Bewoolfe, Cougar Patrick, then inherited the artifact and scrolls show that the Arch Mage Agamemnon went "permanently" missing soon afterwards. This information shows that the hero Beowoolfe has been active since the mid Twentieth Century.
Sometime during his early adventures he crossed paths with the Freedom Phalanx, the Dawn Patrol and Statesman on several occassions. The most famous of these was assisting the struggling Dawn Patrol in defeating the Storm Korps holdovers along with the arch villain Lord of Frost in the last battle of the Black Forest. Followed closely by his clash with the Circle of Thorns high Archon Chaos Bishop high in their Himalayan stronghold that resulted in the destruction of the Imperial Wind strike force remnants that had terrorized the Asian continent for nearly two decades after the end of World War II.
After Beowoolfe and several random "heros" banned together to defeat the attempted conquest of Scandanavia by the combined forces of Count Carnage and renegade Nemesis troops the group decided to reform an ancient secret organization dedicated to combating evil throughout the ages. The most recent incarnation of the Infinity Council was formulated during this time. The group included Beowoolfe, the Bionic Bug, the white witch Doireann and her husband Ravenhull, the detective Whitemask, and the elven swordsmaster Sylven. The group quickly expanded to incorporate super powered beings across the world including the earth master Prince Potash, the magic Monument, the robot Tiny Tank, the galaxy hopping bounty hunter Orion Grimm, Night Celt, the juggernaut Kryos, the fiery Wonder Dad, the Ghost of Nashik, Moonfrost, Dreamkeeper, Hot as Hell and many others. *(I apologise for any original members that I may have forgotten - there are so many good ones that are no longer active in CoH)
One of the first true tests of the Infinity Council was the defeat of the combined Heritage forces lead by The Sinkiller while defending the artifact called the Feather of Set which was being delivered to Vatican archives for research and examination. The Sinkiller was thought to be killed during the battle but has later resurfaced and subsequently has had multiple conflicts with the Infinity Council. His intense hatred for Beowoolfe and the Infinity Council is to be noted and we have a Task Force analyzer running multiple scenario overviews in preparations for making use of this escalated enmity.
During the Rikti invasion the Infinity Council leadership worked with the United Nations to successfully defend priority locations across the globe. Even volunteering the services of several members to assist in the Omega Team strike force! Beowoolfe and many of the Infinity Council leadership lead the diversion counterattack over the city of Amsterdam that allowed the Omega Team to successfully proceed to their target location and essentially end the war.
After the invasion was repelled the surviving heroes of Paragon, lead by Statesman, made a plea to the Infinity Council and their allies to assist in the rebuilding and defense of Paragon City in the wake of recent attacks by entities intent on taking advantage of the post war chaos. Beowoolfe apparently saw the increased interest of the Circle of Thorns in Paragon City as reason for global concern and agreed to help in any way possible. The Infinity Council then set up a temporary base in a deserted building adjacent to Perez Park and began to assist the defense of the city in any way imagineable, including working with the Portal Corps in removing interdimensional threats as well as existing local plots. High level Crey field ops have attempted to direct many of these operations to further our own agenda and have successfully "piggybacked" many of the heroic undertaking to further goals and decades old plans that may have otherwise been fruitless.
Recent developments have taken many of the original leadership of the Infinity Council to other matters and has lead to some new leadership moving into the ranks of the Infinity Council and its growing alliance with the Freedom Phalanx. Heros like Eskimo Pie, Monument, and most recently Shortman and Cowgirl have taken positions on the High Council and have become increasingly dangerous threats to the machinations of the maticulously laid plans of Countess Crey and the corporation.
Even though the hero Beowoolfe is no longer frequently active in the Eastern Atlantic seaboard our field operatives are under priority orders to maintain surveillance of any known Beowoolfe or Infinity Council operations.
