Retrogression's origin is no longer unknown. She is a member of the extended Amiram family, a daughter of a daughter who married outside the clan. Her physical appearance is consonant with this estimate. Her education was unusual for an Amiram, as she studied in a technical-magic program at the College of Namistern in New York.
The powers she uses are not those typical of her family origin. Nor are they commonplaces for graduates of Namistern.
Our spy among her circle was found out by one Moncro (http://www.creyindustries.com/viewhero.php?id=5587), a mystical undead warrior. In the ensuing cascade of accusations back and forth among the organization Moncro had formed, and recruited Retrogression into early in her career, the group itself fell apart but only after most of its membership had scattered across the city to other groups or solo careers. She seems to maintain ties with only one of her former teammates, a blaster known as Divine Energy. Note: check his file. However, before going back to cover, our spy sent us most of the preceding information with regards to one Razi Alleghenz.
Her former associates known as Whitelite and Flash-Storm have been disposed of. They will no longer be any trouble to Crey.
However, she currently is in league with the supergroup known as the Watchguard. Though they recently lost many of their highest profile members, Retrogression retains an alliance with those and with the supergroup in which her associate Divine Energy is ranked, as well, known as Safe Harbor.
A new threat to Crey and Retrogression alike, is a relative of Retrogression, a supervillain known as Retrograde. She is actually Hagar Alleghenz, a relative of the subject, though we are not yet sure of the degree of consanguinity.
