Reports concerning the subject known simply as Cinaed are sketchy at best. What follows is a transcript of an interview with one of our undercover operatives. Unfortunately its limited scope is do, in no small part, to the operative's injuries suffered during the incident in question.

Infirmary U32
"What happened to him?"
"We're not sure. He just keeps murmuring to himself."
"Anything coherent doctor?"
"Yes and no. It's definitely not gibberish, but it doesn't fit his personality profiles."
"Injuries?"
"Too numerous to list. Just suffice it to say he'll be recovering for quite some time. If it wasn't for his built in transporter, I fear he wouldn't be in as good a shape as he is."
"Can I talk to him? He needs to be debriefed before we can proceed."
"I'd caution against it. As I said, he isn't acting quite himself. But you're in charge."
"Yes I am. Just make sure he stays conscious."
“So, what happened to you Sergeant? How did you receive your injuries?”
“I have looked upon the face of God, and he was crying.”
“Say again.”
“He cries for his children.”
“Sergeant!”
“Sir?”
“That’s more like it. Now what happened? How did you receive your injuries.”
“His servants have awakened. They seek to dry his tears. The have come to save us from what we have become.”
“Names Sergeant! I want names, descriptions, everything.”
“Cinaed. His name was Cinaed.”
“Who else?”
“None, but they are now among us. We have no choice but to amend our ways! His hand hovers on the edge of our damnation!”
“One man did this to you? Impossible. Your armor shows signs of scorching, yet it has no failures. If the armor held, then how do you explain your injuries Sergeant?”
“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire”
“Sergeant! Control yourself immediately!”
“yet was not consumed”
Unfortunately further information proved impossible to obtain, for at this point the operative lapses into several hours of ramblings along the same lines.
What is clear from this, however, is that the subject, Cinaed, is some sort of fire user. Apparently the trauma suffered by the operative prior to his appearance in the lab affected more than just his physical person. Subsequent interviews provided similar results, and the operative has since been removed to an undisclosed location for further observation.
The interviews were also accompanied by a processing of the operatives data collection equipment. Like the operative's armor it was believed impenetrable to trauma of both mundane and super origins. One image was recovered from the device after apparently freezing itself into the equipment's memory.
To date only limited information has been obtained, and only after the apparent loss of numerous field agents and operatives. This subject definitely requires further study, but extreme caution is suggested.
