Threat History

His birth is impossible to date, but we know for fact that X’hanti Kh’anti is older than the earth itself. He was born after The Great Divide, the only war recorded in the Chronicles of Rajin, the creator of X’hanti’s home planet, Merewether. After Merewether was divided into four different hemispheres (Volcera, Mysthia, Galecia, Roseburn), Rajin crafted four goddesses out of the essences of the elements as he did in the same manner he crafted the Guardians of Tempestria. Sisters they were, and each was given reign over each hemisphere and its people. All was well with Merewether until an epidemic with the goddesses had seemed to strike. The four of them became impregnated, but had no idea how. Twenty-four hours later each bore a single elemental specter respective of which element they were able to control. Fifteen minutes afterwards, the four specters merged into one producing a single, flesh-bound wailing child.

His training had began immediately. As stated in the Chronicles of Rajin, anyone of royalty who bore a child would be held responsible for raising that child to become the next deity(ies) to reign over the land of Merewether. Xh’anti learned everything from the different languages of Merewether to being able to control the four main elements at will—but his mothers knew that controlling all four elements wasn’t his true gift. Then it had been discovered. On an eerie night the young Xh’anti dreamt of terrible things, and mistakenly, his thoughts merged with the meteorological patterns causing various, strange weather that evening. He woke the next morning to find his mothers beside his bed ready to take him out for the day, but it was going to be a different day. There was no more turning a flame into a fire beast. No more talking to the various species of the earth. It was now time to communicate with the wind, and learn to control the weather—a gift no one has seen since the creation of Merewether.

Ten years later, Yin was able to call forth anything. When Merewether’s natural weather produced rain, he could make it sunny. When the heat got too gruesome, he could generate the coolest of breezes. His skill had become flawless, and it made his mothers proud; however, they knew his training in Merewether just wasn’t enough to prepare him to take the throne when his time was to come. So without hesitation, Yin was sent to earth. Where he wound up was his business, but his mothers came to the realization that evil was abundant on the planet, and he needed to experience such things for his own good.

Physical Description

Race / Ethnicity: Merewetherian
Gender: Male
Height: 6’3
Weight: 180 lbs.
Build: Yin has the build of a late 40’s male.
Eye Color: White (pupiless)
Hair Color: White
Complexion: Peach
Distinguishing Features: Though Yin is older than the earth itself, he appears to be around late 40’s, early 50’s. This is due to him becoming god of Merewether soon. It is a spell casted to preserve him for the years to come. Once he inherits the throne he will began to age once more, but at an unusually slow rate.

Typical Combat Appearance: The black-and-gold robe is well-known across Paragon City that Yin wears. It was what he wore through almost ten decades. Ever since ICON opened up, Yin has been giving himself some noticeable changes. He has been seen wearing typical hero spandex, as well as shorter, more loose-leaf robes. The most familiar is his Tempestria uniform (teal, white, and gold), and the emerald green, white, and gold robe.

Typical Civilian Appearance: Yin rarely wears civilian-like clothes. He can be seen dressed up at certain occasions (birthday parties, anniversaries, etc). Other then that, Yin can usually be found wearing his combat attire 24/7. He sees himself as always on duty.

Tactical Analysis

Metahuman Powers: Able to create meteorological phenomenon through his telepathic connection with the wind. He is able to psionically move and position various wind patterns from all four corners of the globe to bring forth whatever weather he pleases. Everything from a light drizzle to folding an organization under a tsunami, there is nothing he cannot do with this gift. With this comes the ability to manipulate electrical currents into blasts, cages, sentinels, and calling forth an enormous display of high voltage all at once. With his ability to hear and communicate the wind, he has developed psionic talents to a certain extent. From causing mass hypnosis to sending a bolt of psychic energy into the mind of another’s psyche, there is little he cannot do.

Fighting Skills: His fighting skills are severely limited. It is essential that he keeps his distance from all melee combat. He is a ranged fighter, and depends on his ability to control the elements to a T.

Other Special Skills & Abilities: Communication with the wind, and a practitioner of some mystic arts.

Special Limitations: He’s older than the earth itself, and while he seems omnipotent he can grow weary at times from casting too many meteorological phenomenon.

Notable Equipment: None.

Transportation: Yin travels by means of the wind’s current.

Strategic Analysis

Recommended Action(s): Subject 91 is an omnipotent force to reckon with. He is an observer, and always takes in his surroundings; therefore, extreme caution, patience, and time should be considered when approaching. Subject 91 is always willing to negotiate before he is forced into going into battle, so that is one advantage we have. Taking him by surprise would be the best possible means of success if it weren’t for his ability to summon just about anything in a matter of seconds. If Subject 91 is to be taken down, he is to be taken down using two of the following things: 1.) Strength in numbers, and 2.) Speed. With those two combined, Subject 91 should not survive on his own for too long.

Threat Rating: 97.8%
