Observations: Background checks reveal that Rebecca is originally from Salem Massachusetts. There she fell in love with the old myths and witchcraft in general. When she was just 14 years old she began delving into Wiccan beliefs and practices. Her parents naturally opposed her pursuits. However she did not give up and began secretly aquiring books and using the internet to slake her thirst for knowledge.

By the age of 16 Rebecca was becoming quite skilled at the craft and was well on her way to being a full fledged Wiccan. She had learned much about the principle elements and found that her favorite was the wind and weather. It seemed to be what she was most in tune with and the manipulation of it came naturally.

By the time she was 18 and had finished her high school education Rebecca decided to turn her powers to more useful pursuits then just pure enjoyment. Instead of attending a local college she applied to and was accepted by Paragon University. During her four years as a student she was observed dabbling in crime fighting between classes, mostly keeping the campus and dorms safe.

Shortly before graduation Rebecca was observed being contacted by a hero known as Hollow. The two of them set out together to remove an ancient curse that has been upon the D'Ascenzo family for centries. Though details are sketchy as to the exact happenings, Rebecca began developing shadow powers after the encounter.

After graduation Rebecca formally adopted the hero name of Witch Girl and approached the Knights of Paragon to join their team and to get help with her new darkness magic from Hollow. Since then she has quickly become a thorn in our sides. She has shown herself to be a true hero and has done everything in her power to thwart our plans.
