Threat History
First Sighting:
The hero called “The Mystic” is a mysterious creature. It is uncertain what form of being he is, what forms of perception he has , and if he even has a legal name. The first hint of his existence came in approximately November of 1994. Rumors started passing around among local gang members (most from the Hellion and Skulls factions), that an odd creature had been sighted in the alleyways of Atlas Park and King’s Row. It was described as standing like a man, although taller, with dark grey skin and having green fire coming from its head. It was said that the creature would appear out of nowhere and attack gang members. Because of its frightening appearance, the creature was nicknamed “The Shadow Demon.” In the following months, more and more stories were being produced about The Shadow Demon, and the locations of these incidents began spreading across the city.
Existence Confirmed:
On June 10, 2000, at approximately 11:15PM, some of our agents were involved in an incident with the subject. In the northwestern parts of Brickstown, a group of five agents were performing standard research and operations. When communications with the group failed, a party was sent to investigate. All five agents were found unconscious on the ground at their assigned station. Later questioning provided some details about the incident. All agents reported that when the figure attacked them, they felt a strong sharp pain that originated in the head and quickly spread throughout their entire body. This pain was the last thing they remember about the incident. Only two agents saw the figure, and gave a similar description as what had been described in the past rumors.
This incident motivated further research of the subject. Unfortunately, the subject could not be tracked throughout the city, and so an operation was created to lure it out and capture it if possible. During the assault on the subject, it became clear that he was not human or an organic creature. Various tools such as noxious gases and poisons proved completely ineffective. However, the subject showed to be susceptible to injury by manners of intense heat, cold, and electricity. Also, physical attacks appeared to harm him, but he was able to quickly recover from physical injuries and showed no signs of pain. Eventually, the subject was able to escape before capture.
Activity in the Paragon
In March of 2005, reports began to appear that stated that the subject had been seen associating and operating with members of the group known as The Defenders of Paragon. In the months after this, the subject could commonly be seen with other members of the organization. The subject steadily improved in using his odd talents, and he also became known to spend much time studying how humans use the arcane arts. He frequently can be found associating with Azuria and other members of M.A.G.I., as well as with other notable experts in the field.
Current Status
The subject has now become one of the most powerful magic users in the world. It is said that he spends much time researching arcane subjects, and also training less experienced heroes. He is known to defend our entire galaxy against some of the greatest threats. Luckily for our organization, the subject focuses mainly on mystical affairs and has not proven to be a great hazard to our activities yet. However, if the subject does decide to interfere he could pose quite a problem.

Tactical Analysis
Metahuman Powers: The subject has very unique abilities. He appears to have telekinetic and psionic abilities similar to human telepaths. However, he is also able to weaken his enemies in an unknown fashion. Agents have reported feeling as if energy was being drained from them, sometimes causing them to fall unconscious on the ground. Reports also state that the subject often causes opponents to become spontaneously frightened (this state is often accompanied by horrific hallucinations). This effect can range from minor fear to an almost catatonic state of horror. Multiple agents have been required to complete the education process again.
Fighting Skills: The subject usually stays distanced from opponents. His main forms of assault are what seem to be psionic or telekinetic attacks. He also seems to be able to strengthen his allies in an unknown manner.
Other Special Skills & Abilities: The subject appears to communicate completey through telepathic means. Witnesses have also described the subject as having the ability to “disappear into the shadows and reappear in a different place.” It is still uncertain if this feat is accomplished by a form of teleportation or phase shifting, or some different ability. In addition to his unique abilities, the subject is also very experienced with the arcane arts.
Special Limitations: Research has proven unsuccessful in determining physical structure and limitations.
Notable Equipment: Subject has been known to use various magical objects (crystals, talismans, artifacts, etc.)
Transportation: The subject appears to telekinetically make himself levitate. In fact, he rarely actually lands on the ground.

Strategic Analysis
Recommended Action(s): The subject may pose a serious threat, however he appears to pay little attention to Crey Industries and its agents. It is suggested to not engage the subject unless he poses a direct threat to our organization and its activities.
Threat Rating: 100%

(( Character Influences:What is funny is that this guy is my main and I actually came up with his appearance first. Then the concept sort of evolved out of the appearance. ))
