 For the purposes of writing and RP and such, if you encounter me in Paragon City someplace, here are some notes to remember. Kara is a mutant. Kara is a super hero. Kara is happy nearly all the time.
That’s about it.
Her powers are exceptional strength, flight, invulnerability, and super cheerfulness. I fully expect other heroes to get tired of her smiling all the time and constantly bringing up “on the bright side” comments.
Kara has no exceptional resistance to any psychic probing, though all the “happiness and fun” thoughts are likely to give you a cavity. Anything you find out you probably could have gotten by asking her. If you claim you are reading her mind, she will immediately remember the most embarrassing thing that happened to her recently, or something embarrassing from childhood. Want to find out that the kid’s in second grade called her “stinky butt” when she made the mistake of telling the show and tell group about how she went to the bathroom once and forgot to check if the seat was up or down?
Kara’s only really “dark” secret is she has a crush on, and is currently dating, Alexander 'the Great' Pavlidis, the Warrior leader. It is suspected by nearly everyone but Kara that he is using her to get rid of his enemies. Kara refuses to believe it and she will not attack Warriors unless they attack her first, or Alex tells her to. She can often be found hanging out at the Warrior compound on Strigia, dancing at the raves. The Warriors, for their part, do not engage in illegal activities around her. She will stop crimes, but she won’t engage them otherwise.
Kara has no “Secret ID” but neither is she one of the really famous heroes in Paragon. Someone could find out about her family, but there is little point to it. She lives openly and can be easily found. |
